How to Book DSOD Shows

There are tutorials galore on the internet for how to book your in person trunk show, a Facebook party, or any number of other options. As direct sellers, we know that community is essential to the work that we do. Part of that spirit is sharing what we’ve learned so that others can also grow. It’s absolutely the reason why I started the Direct Sales on Demand method and why we’re here today.

Booking a DSOD show doesn’t have to be that much different than the other options you’ve tried. In fact, it’s actually much easier! I have a few tried and true methods for booking an on demand show that I’m so excited to share with you.

DSOD Booking Method 1: The Closer

We’ve all had the potential host with reservations about Facebook parties. They want to do an online option for the flexibility to include out of town guests, but it seems like a lot of work! All the messages, tagging, and keeping up with the algorithm is a little overwhelming.

After lots of reassurance and support, the potential host backs out — or worse — ghosts you completely leaving you hanging in Facebook Messenger. Your friend wanted to support you and your business but it was honestly just too much. Now is the time for DSOD to shine.

Reach back out to your hosts that have yet to commit, and introduce them to the DSOD method. Tell them the on demand show is simple — send their friends one simple link and enjoy!

<poof> Is their mind blown? I bet they said yes immediately at the chance to support you and get host rewards with much less effort. Woohoo! You’re on your way to growing your business on demand.

DSOD Booking Method 2: The Repeat

We looooove repeat hosts, am I right? They’re already pros! They love your brand, know your style, and are obsessed with your products. It also helps that their friends are already introduced so it’s a fun reunion of sorts when you all get together.

Introducing your veteran host to the DSOD method is great because you already have a reason to reach out about hosting another time. Let them know about all the perks of hosting with DSOD: less work, simple for guests, interactive, and fun! They had such a great time in the past hosting with you so now it’s a win-win!

DSOD Booking Method 3: The Skeptic

Oh yes. You know who I’m talking about. You can call them skeptics, haters, doubters, judgers, or Karens. Whatever the best term is these days, they’re people who you hesitate to ask to host — or frankly have never bothered because they’re not fans of direct sales companies. They hate spammy “hey girl” messages (for the record — so do I!). They might even publicly decry our industry on their social accounts. Or maybe low key they’ve just said no or ghosted you when you asked in the past, so you’re just not sure where they stand.

Do not fear! Offering them an opportunity to get to know direct sales through the on demand method is the perfect introduction to someone who is skeptical about it. It’s simple and easy. There are absolutely NO slimy, salesy, or intimidating practices. Share a link with friends and recommend products you love.

Perhaps this is the most daring method of all, but we encourage you to give it a try. You just never know.

Conclusion

Booking on demand shows is E A S Y! Your hosts will love saying yes to this opportunity because you made it 10x easier for them to share the products they love with their friends. Their friends will have an easier time shopping, too — which means more rewards for them. My goal at DSOD is to make things efficient and bring more joy to your business.
